About the Tutor
Oxford Test Preparation has been at the forefront of LSAT instruction
in the Washington Metropolitan Area. We are proud to be under the
guidance of Head Instructor Thomas Xosa, a University of Chicago
graduate who has taught LSAT preparation courses at various
institutions for more than seven years. Our curriculum was developed
by a team of instructors led by Mr. Xosa. We minimally require any
prospective instructor to score at least 170 on the LSAT (or 99th
percentile) in order to be eligible for the rigorous instructor
training program.
Countless students have been able to testify to the success of our
curriculum, which has helped them attain amazing strides on their exam
scores.
Our programs are threefold. First and foremost is our standard
in-class instruction. Combining tradition and progress, we provide
students with the latest tools. Chief among them is an online video
database, where students are guided through the problem-solving
process of each homework question. The second is the University Test
Familiarization Program, conducted at Georgetown University. Here,
students are taught a guided course on the basics of the LSAT, and
also have access to their own online videos explaining homework
problems step by step. Finally, we have our flagship project,
LSATGenie. Accessible worldwide, this is a comprehensive online course
that teaches all aspects of the LSAT in great depth, from
problem-solving methods to common mistakes made on the test. Each
topic is given in a detailed and vibrant video format that is easy to
grasp. We are constantly refreshing the content on LSATGenie with the
latest proven techniques, so that we can keep our students up to date.
In addition, students already enrolled in the live instruction
curriculum are given the option to access the wider LSATGenie question
database.
As the arena of law school admissions continues to be more
competitive, we at Oxford Prep will push your peak performance beyond
your expectations.
