Apply to be a 2010 GUSA Summer Fellow (Deadline: April 11)
The Georgetown University Student Association (GUSA) Summer Fellows Program provides Georgetown undergraduates qualifying for need-based financial aid with free housing and leadership training for 10 weeks over the summer so that they may pursue an unpaid internship or other unpaid work in the Washington, D.C. metro area. As a university in the Catholic and Jesuit tradition, Georgetown encourages its students not simply to study in the classroom, but also engage with, and draw from the outside world. The GUSA Summer Fellows program facilitates this interaction by providing its members with the opportunity to participate in an internship that they otherwise may not be able to pursue. By taking applications from all qualified students, without regard to major or career interest, this program looks to fill an opportunity gap on campus and set forth a unified community of leaders who embody the aspiration of professional growth within themselves and who intend to foster a similar road to success for the fellows that follow.
Both applications and recommendations should be sent in online to GUSASummerFellows@gmail.com and can be sent separately.
